  1.  Preheat the oven to 350°.  Butter a 9 x 13 glass baking pan.
  2. Mix the eggs, sugar, and vanilla for at least 10 minutes with a standing mixer.  Meanwhile, sift the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add half of the flour to the matter and mix on low.  Add in the milk and the rest of the flour and scrape down sides.  Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter in the pan and bake at 350° for about 25 minutes.
  5. While the cake is baking, whisk together the heavy cream, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk.
  6. Once the cake has cooled, poke holes in the top of the cake with skewer and pour cream mixture slowly over the cake, letting it soak in.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. To serve, sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar.  Serve with whipped cream or ice cream and top with sliced fresh fruit.
